Our programs are generally considered to be the easiest ones to use in the
entire property and casualty insurance industry.

Our company specific rating programs are custom written for that company
and generate real time rates (fast) on specific lines. Many are currently being
used in-house by that company as well as being distributed to their agency force.

Our DOS programs are written specifically to be able to run on all PCs (8086 thru 80586)
and on most networks. They are not "windows dependent", but are launchable from
Windows 3.x / 95/98/NT. They are always extensively error trapped and
incorporate our error-proof input routines (with customized defaults).

Our Windows programs are written for any machine running 32 bit windows
they will run on 9X/ME/XP/NT and 2000. They are also extensively error trapped

Our Web programs are written for any NT/2000/2002/2003 Server. Almost all browsers
are supported. User input is validated on the "client side" (before submission).
Who we are
Micro-Rating was started by two active insurance agents in 1979 after developing
a personal lines rating program for use in their agency. We found it easier to learn
to program than to teach programmers the intricacies of the property and casualty
insurance business. This was at the beginning of the information revolution and
the Radio Shack Model 1 was the micro computer of the time. From that beginning
Micro-Rating has grown into a "CAN DO" company known for its outstanding products,
quick response time and quality support.
